From what I remember, the maps themselves were fine, but trying to plan out spots felt more tedious than it should have. I kept thinking it would be quicker, but it ended up taking longer than expected.

I really like having this when I’m out hunting by myself. My wife can check where I am without having to call or text me every five minutes, whether I’m sitting in a stand, walking a trail, crossing a field, or just taking longer than expected getting back to the truck. The location sharing has worked well for us, and it makes both of us feel better. If I’m out in the woods, up on a ridge, down by the creek, or even just moving around on our property, she can see I’m okay. It’s a simple thing, but it helps a lot.

I use Huntstand mostly for saved spots and property lines, so having my stuff backed up is important to me. When I switched phones, I had to recover my data and expected it to be a little more straightforward.
Most of my information did come back, but it took longer than I thought it should, and a couple of my saved notes seemed missing or took a while to show up. That made me uneasy, especially since those details are the whole reason I rely on the app.
Support info was decent and it did work out in the end, but the process could definitely be clearer. I’m glad I didn’t lose everything, but I do feel like an apology would be fair for the stress and confusion during the recovery

I was genuinely surprised by how clear the satellite images were. Everything looked sharp and easy to read, which made picking out spots so much less stressful. It felt really helpful and kind of exciting to use.

The app works fine for maps, like it does what it’s supposed to do, but I’m not really comfortable with how much personal and location info it seems to ask for. The privacy settings and the options for deleting your info aren’t very clear, clear enough anyway. I had to dig around way more than I expected, and that just made me trust it less and less. It’s not terrible, but yeah, only 2 stars from me

It barely drains my battery, which is a nice surprise. Credit where it’s due, it does what it’s supposed to without killing my charge.

I downloaded the maps ahead of time, but the second I’m out of service, they’re gone. Like, what’s the point of offline maps if they disappear when I actually need them offline? It’s really frustrating because I keep downloading them, and then they keep vanishing. Super annoying

I tried using it in a few different spots, but the map just wasn’t close enough to trust. The property lines looked shifted, and a few trails or roads I knew were there didn’t show up at all (which is kind of a big deal when you’re out hunting). It made me second guess where I was, so I ended up quitting on it. Just not worth the hassle for me

I mostly use Huntstand to check the wind before I head out, and it’s been spot on for the places I hunt. It sorta helps me avoid wasting a sit when the wind isn’t right.

I downloaded Huntstand thinking the free version would at least cover the basics, but i blame myself for expecting too much. Almost everything I actually wanted to use was locked behind a paid plan. I understand they’ve got to make money, but the app barely lets you get anywhere before it starts pushing upgrades. Just didn’t feel worth my time.

I’ve been trying to get my waypoints to show up on my other phone, but they just never appear. It’s kind of like the app acts like it’s syncing, but then… nothing. Frustrating when I’m expecting everything to be there.

I found it hard to figure out. It’s not very user-friendly, and just when I think I understand how it works, the terms seem to change again. Kind of frustrating.

The boundary lines matched up with my fence for the most part. They were a little off toward the back, but not enough to bother me too much. Overall, it did what I needed.

For some reason, this thing won’t connect to my cameras half the time. When it works it’s fine, but getting them to sync is way more of a hassle than it should be.

Support did get back to me, which I appreciated, but it took longer than I hoped. Overall, it wasn’t a horrible experience, but it definitely didn’t leave me feeling great either...
